Post-holiday depression remedy

After the initial shock of coming home to the humidity and heat following a month of being in the European winter, I spent the next few days trying to get over my post-holiday depression by ... shopping. Okay, to be fair, I had been researching new speakers since we were in London. My old sound system was pretty low-end (Yamaha ones) and they were about 10 years old, so I reckoned it was time to get some new higher-end speakers to reward myself for how hard I worked. After a lot of research and decided that Bose was overrated and overpriced, I settled for these: There were heaps of very positive reviews about Bowers & Wilkins speakers and now that they are up and running, I can see why. I almost burst into tears when I first hooked them up and listened to a couple of songs through them. The clarity was astounding. 2015 European trip - days 22 to 28

Day 22 After our morning routine, Sam and I went to recreate the last day when we were in London three years ago. Well, sort of - we did go back to the hairdressers on Tottemham Court Road first and got our 8-pound hair cuts, before making our way to the British Museum. We spent about two hours there and I could clearly recall some of the things we saw the first time. However, we were able to walk around at a more leisurely pace today, unlike last time when we had to rush through the entire museum just so that we had time to get to the airport. When we were done, we hopped onto a bus around the corner (I just love the public transport system here!) and went down to Trafalgar Square. We went to the cafe in the National Gallery and refuelled. It was a bit of a challenge to find something to eat that would work with our paleo diet but we finally settled on chicken stew, some crisps, and a macchiato, otherwise known as the lunch for champions! :P We spent the next...
